![]() I entreat you to pray that I would increase in boldness and courage to share the truth. To see the video from the picture above, click this YouTube Link to watch as I practice evangelism. So we pray for the courage to go but we go either way, whether we feel the courage or not, trusting God to enable us to share the truth as it is in Jesus with others, even strangers! My friend, we want to encourage you to consider these truths in light of Scripture, and we pray that the Lord will put feet to our prayers, that we will be found “having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.” (Ephesians 6:15 ESV) Out of the love of Christ and for the love of others we must bring the Gospel to the ears of those who might otherwise never hear it. We are compelled to go: out of love for our neighbors who will be punished for their sins in the eternal lake which burns with fire unless they come to Christ in this life, and out of love for our dear Savior who is worthy of the reward for His suffering. Jesus said that “the gate is narrow and…those who find it are few” (Matthew 7:14 ESV), and in John 3:3 He made it clear that we must be born again to enter the kingdom of heaven. Helping someone see the depth of their sin and then pointing them to Christ is not easy, but when we consider that every single person around us will either be in heaven or in hell in 100 years (most less!), we are compelled to rescue those perishing in their sins. You certainly don't need to try to convince me that ANY sort of evangelism is uncomfortable, my flesh knows this very well from personal experience – especially if you proclaim the genuine Biblical Gospel that exposes sin through the LAW before opening up the treasures of Christ's grace from heaven. Therefore, do not go out without your tracts." - Charles Spurgeon But a touching gospel tract may be the seed of eternal life. Get good striking tracts, or none at all. "When preaching and private talk are not available, you need to have a tract ready. ![]() And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18–20 ESV) Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. ![]() Whether it is telling a friend or family member, handing out tracts to strangers, or proclaiming the Gospel in the public square, you may ask “why would you go and do such a thing?”Īnd Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. ![]()
